19th cen: Huntington family correspondence

This exhibition centers on Original documents and annotated transcriptions of letters that Elizabeth Huntington wrote to her eleven children and it will gradually expand to include other Huntington family correspondence. 

The Porter-Phelps-Huntington Family Papers as a whole comprise almost a hundred linear feet of materials, stretching from the late seventeenth to the mid-twentieth centuries. The collection is held at the University of Massachusetts Special Collections and University Archives, is documented by a finding aid, and is available for research.
