These pages contain biographical information about the Nelson family, a collection of public records documenting the family, an annotated map of the town of Goshen, transcriptions of the wide array of the Nelson's realistic life writing--journals, sketches, and essays--in the collection of the Goshen Historical Society, as well as a tagged and searchable collection of the photographs the brothers shot in the late 1890s and early 1900s. The glass plate negatives for the photographic images presented here are held by the Goshen Historical Society. This site also includes a brief account of the brother's experiences as photographers.
